Overview:

Sentara Healthcare is currently recruiting for an Electronic Contract Management (ECM) Coordinator for their Materials Management Division located in Chesapeake Virginia. This is a Full Time day-shift position and would be a great career opportunity to blend your IT and Materials Management skills! Applicants must meet all requirements in order to be considered. Preferred candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience in Healthcare Operations or Contract Management. Lean and/or Lean Six Sigma certification and understanding of Contracts/Contract Language is strongly preferred. In lieu of 2 years Healthcare experience or 2 years Contract experience, 2 years database management experience may be considered.

Minimum of 4 years in Healthcare Operations, Accreditation, and Auditing Skills. Bachelors degree required or 4 years of related experience accepted in lieu of degree. Knowledge and experience working with Contracts and ISO requirements. Lean and/or Lean Six Sigma certification and understanding of Contracts/Contract Language preferred.

Responsibilities:

Management and Coordination of Sentara Contract Repository System for Sentara Healthcare. Coordinator of others to accomplish Sentara¿s Strategic and regulatory compliance goals for ECM. Motivator of external staff/departments to utilize Sentara electronic repository rather than individual share-point sites, or other electronic or paper filing methods. Point of contact for Sentara System as well as Regulatory bodies. Ensure the Contract System is being used to its capacity to minimize Sentara¿s risk and exposure regarding ¿unknown¿ contract agreements that have been signed, and duplicate agreements. Coordinates with Legal as well communications, processes, and policies as it relates to contracting policies.
