This position requires a leader with strong analytic and management capacity and a broad knowledge of the child welfare and social services programs. The incumbent in this position leads a team comprised of substantive experts, trained analysts and infuses all areas of the department with reliable, high quality information about progress and opportunities for performance improvement. This position establishes overall policies and procedures for the collection and production of a broad array of data that is essential to the agency's mission and operations; uses data and analysis to propose specific activities that could be undertaken to improve program outcomes and operational efficiency; oversees the development of specialized computer systems and software; analyzes and interprets large administrative data sets using R programming and Qlik to automate reports and visualize data.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources Management, Information Technology or other related field with specific coursework in the structure and use of automated information systems.
Experience: Three years of experience providing problem analysis and ongoing user support, coordinating system development and implementation, and training users on the functionality of applications for agency or statewide systems housed on mainframe computers or large client server platforms.
Salary - $60,543-$88,424 with growth potential
