AEI is seeking a full-time research assistant to provide research, writing, editing, and administrative assistance to the resident scholar in AEI’s early childhood program. This includes duties such as researching for and editing blogs, op-eds, policy briefs, and reports; coordinating public events and high-level private meetings; aplanning trips and scheduling; keeping records and tracking finances; and managing public relations.


The ideal candidate works well both independently and in a team and possesses excellent organizational, research, and writing skills; attention to detail; strong interpersonal skills; and flexibility. The ability to multitask and work well under pressure is required, as is a demonstrated interest in early childhood policy.
