The White Oak Medical Center (WOMC) Construction IT Analyst's role is to assist with the Information Technology (IT) lifecycle management of the project as it relates to the integration and implementation of IT Systems. The WOMC Construction IT Analyst is critical to the gathering and validation of information necessary to develop and deliver IT requirements to the construction general contractor and the various subcontractors. This role is responsible for analyzing and understanding the Technology and Electrical blueprint designs for the WOMC building and maintaining updates and version controls of the IT device/telecom plans as they are affected by the periodic design bulletin releases. When building design bulletins dictate IT changes, the WOMC Construction IT Analyst is responsible for articulating, documenting, and submitting those changes to the WOMC IT Project Lead for submission to the architects. Post WOMC construction, the WOMC Construction IT Analyst will assist, under the direction of the WOMC IT Project Lead, in on-site validation and quality control of the low-voltage and electrical locations throughout the hospital.
Work Schedule:

  • Support Device Installation contractor under the WOMC IT Project Lead direction
  • Validate requirements in Building A blueprint design as it pertains to device placement, low-voltage cable planning, and electric planning for IT
  • Assist WOMC IT Project Lead to perform on-site quality control and validation of IT design elements prior to owner acceptance and substantial completion of hospital construction
  • Follow AHC frameworks and PMBOK best practices in managing WOMC project administration (i.e. charter creation, project management plan updates)
  • Additional duties as assigned.
