Your role in helping us shape the future:

The Media & Entertainment industry is undergoing a deep transformation as evolving viewing trends impact business models and content delivery solutions. Thanks to your sharp understanding of those trends and of the competitive landscape, you will own winning strategies for Intelsat's 37 video neighborhoods for cable, broadcast and direct-to-home satellite distribution worldwide. Those strategies cover all the critical elements of successful go-to-market plans, including segmentation, innovative approaches to solution design, pricing, packaging, etc.

Your strong leadership skills will inspire cross-functional, cross-regional teams to execute the detailed actionable plans supporting those strategies. Your mission to grow revenue on Media space assets, increase market share in each region, and expand Intelsat's share of wallet with strategic customers is critical to the company success.

 

Are you up to the challenge?

  • Translate your deep understanding of our Media customers' challenges and aspirations into a global strategy, while considering the competitive context and regional specificities
  • Lead the design and execution of plans aligned with Sales' strategic account planning with the aim to optimize the loading and yield on Intelsat's premium satellite assets
  • Maximize value to our Media customers and to Intelsat by relying on advanced technologies in space and on the ground.
  • Leverage your brain power to analyze existing services on the fleet, forecast future demand, and provide inputs into future satellite design.
  • Motivate and equip the Sales and Marketing organization with the information, tools and training required to support revenue growth.
  • Be the internal and external champion of Intelsat's video neighborhoods

 

Can you drive these processes?

Go-to-market planning for key video neighborhoods; regular assessment of regional competitive landscape; reporting on KPIs (e.g. Revenue, Yield, Channel Growth, Market Share, etc.) reflecting the successful execution of your product strategies

 

You should definitely have:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7 years of relevant work experience
  • An understanding of the Media competitive landscape and global business environment
  • Experience analyzing and presenting relevant market, industry, and company data to support concrete strategies
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to proactively manage a variety of projects and timelines
  • Strong leadership skills, self-motivation and result-focus
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Expert-level computer skills (e.g. MS Suite, Project Management tools, etc.)

 

It would be nice if you had:

  • MBA or similar advanced degree
  • Experience in satellite communications
  • Understanding of Intelsat's satellite fleet and Media customer base
