We have an immediate career opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer. This is a key leadership role working closely with the c-suite to advance the organization’s culture, mission and strategic plans. We are looking for a dynamic, forward thinking, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to join our leadership team.

Incumbent is responsible for providing a positive leadership direction to accounting, back office, information technology, support services, facilities management and staff. Direct and manage all practices and activities in the Finance and Accounting functions to ensure compliance with State and Federal rules and regulations. Manage auditing, accounting, back office, and recordkeeping activities of the credit union to ensure they meet generally accepted accounting practices (GAAP). Make recommendations relating to budget preparation, income forecasts, and operational changes as needed. Develop, implement and maintain accounting systems and practices; ensure proper finance controls, policies, and procedures are in place to maintain the integrity of all Credit Union's financial data, records, and assets.

Incumbent must have a minimum of ten (10) years direct accounting experience in a credit union or financial institution environment, including five (5) years in a management capacity within the Accounting discipline. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance or Business Management (Accounting or Finance emphasis) required. Additional studies in the area of Computer Information Science recommended.
