The work is done most likely at a desk but regularly requires physical effort to reach all work areas for inspections and evaluations. Work is performed inside and outside the Gallery as necessary. Occasionally, may be required to wear protective clothing and equipment.
Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for the GS-802-12. At the GS- 12 level you must demonstrate at least one year of professional work as an electrical engineer in the planning and estimating maintenance, repair and evaluation of a buildings electrical system equivalent in responsibility to the GS-11 level.
