  • The work is done most likely at a desk but regularly requires physical effort to reach all work areas for inspections and evaluations. Work is performed inside and outside the Gallery as necessary. Occasionally, may be required to wear protective clothing and equipment.

    Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for the GS-802-12. At the GS- 12 level you must demonstrate at least one year of professional work as an electrical engineer in the planning and estimating maintenance, repair and evaluation of a buildings electrical system equivalent in responsibility to the GS-11 level.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

    Time-in-Grade: Current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement to receive consideration under merit promotion procedures.
