Job Description Job Title: Sales Director, Financial Services Location: Reston, VA About This Role: comScore Inc. is a recognized innovator that's changing the way companies develop and evaluate their marketing tactics and strategies. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of telling comScore's story to the Banking industry with responsibility for expanding comScore's footprint of industry-leading competitive insights, advertising evaluation, campaign optimization and brand monitoring solutions. What You'll Do: Drive sales of comScore custom solutions, specifically in the areas of cross-platform measurement of audiences, advertising and consumer behavior Develop strategies to win new Banking clients and build existing relationships, focusing on a combination of large strategic accounts and prospects Partner with clients to understand their needs, and create custom solutions to address needs and improve ROI Successfully achieve defined sales objectives for the business unit, including renewals and new business Forge strong client relationships to solidify comScore as a true consultative partner for business and marketing insights Achieve deep technical knowledge of comScore's full suite of services. This understanding can only be achieved through experience in deploying comScore's solutions which will require a commitment to learning and training Assist in building highly strategic and account-specific business plans and ensure that these are delivered successfully Maintain and enhance comScore's reputation as a leading-edge expert in the marketing and advertising marketplace What You'll Need: A highly aggressive sales professional with a proven track record of success selling into senior leaders within very large, complex organizations At least 7 years direct sales experience required with digital/TV advertising and/or market research sales experience strongly preferred A solid understanding of the digital and/or TV ecosystem and analytical advertising process, as well as how to leverage data and industry insights to help clients achieve their goals A passion for building relationships; Superior communication skills (presentation and written) Ability to communicate successfully with a diverse set of clients and decision makers, spanning all levels of the organization and across various functional areas (marketing, data/analytics, research, planning, activation, etc) Established contacts and relationships within the Financial Services industry a plus A relentless work ethic and a desire to go the extra mile About comScore: At comScore, we're pioneering the future of cross-platform media measurement, arming organizations with the insights they need to make decisions with confidence.
