Robert Half Technology is seeking a qualified individual for a Director of Information Systems for a local school ISD in Dallas-Fort Worth. QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification: Bachelors deyee or equivalent Computernechnology related degee or certification (preferred) Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in a position requiring the use of the knowledge and skills that relate to the major responsibilities and duties listed below. 1. ADMINISTRATION AND FISCAL FACILITIES MANAGEMENT A. Provide effective leadership and management for Information Systems, PEIMS, School Choice, Instuctional Materials, and Records Management goups. B. Develop, oversee and enhance infomation systems for the district including, but not limited to, SIS, HRIS, PEIMS, online registration, online school choice, online and physical insu?uctional materials, document management software, campus data tacking systems, records retention software, and identity management software C. Provide effective leadership and support for adminimtors in obtaining, installing and using technology. D. Provide support to the PEIMS Coordinator and Insuuctional Materials Coordinator, along with otter managers in the youp, to ensure success in their assigned duties. E. Provide input for die districts data warehouse system to ensure dan integation requirement. F. Establish and maintain co:frol with outside vendors supplying equipment, software, and services. G. Works collaboratively with all aspects of the District to ensure consistency, compatibility and the effective integation of systems. H. Coordinates with the Assistant Superintendent of Technology to provide training, as needed, on implemented systems. I. Assists in ongoing data collection, planning, and successful implementation of systems that use the district network. J. Coordinate with the appropriate stakeholder(s) for allocation ofresources necessary to complete projects and n.sks. K. Mainmin documentation of materials, resources, tasks, sequencing, and task completion dates. L. Provide periodic reports of project sutus to the Assistant Superintendent ofTechnoloy. M. Research, evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, which will enhance the quality of services provided by the Technolog Department. N. Develop, oversee and recommend the annual budget for the department. O. responsible fiscal control over assigned progam budgets. P. Assist with development ofthe AISD Long Range Plan for Technolog. Q. Coordinates the preparation of repons and maintenance of complete and accurate records as required by adminisu?ative regulation, district policy, and the Texas Education Agency. R. Implemenent policies established by law, state law, the state board of education rule and tie local board policy in the areas supervised.
