Works with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to manage cybersecurity. Oversees the daily operations of network staff and the IT Service Desk function, and works with management to ensure the infrastructure supports the Credit Unions staff and members. Monitors network and recommends upgrades/changes, and assesses organization's current and future network and security needs. Major Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for administration and maintenance of the Network Operating System (Windows Active Directory), Exchange DAG cluster, data storage, and all physical and virtual devices. Serve as senior network engineer, responsible for monitoring and tuning the network for optimal performance, troubleshooting issues, and configuring the Cisco ASA firewall, and Cisco switches and routers. Administer and develop VMWare infrastructure, planning for increased stability, performance and growth. Includes management of ESX servers, VM Gold Images, VCenter, Horizon View, and over 200 VM clients and servers. Supervise network team, setting annual independent plans and providing performance reviews. Serve as mentor to junior members of the team. Collaborate with CISO to manage cyber-security, including endpoint antivirus protection, web content filtering, spam filtering, and data loss protection. Manage SAN infrastructure, including the storage provisioning process, troubleshooting and VMware connectivity. Experience working with IBM SAN (Storwize V7000), Cisco MDS Switch and Fibre-Channel protocols. Administer and support Interactive Intelligence VOIP system. Manage and monitor backup system (Netbackup). Responsible for creating, maintaining, and testing Business Continuity Plan, as well as perform discovery to document system RPO and RTO. Work with DR site provider to ensure system readiness. Manage software and hardware procurement, maintaining hardware upgrade cycle and software revisions, and incorporating SaaS opportunities into future plans. Responsible for patch management and security updates. Administer and manage help desk ticket tracking system (TrackIT). Provide Level 2 and 3 support, and be available 24x7 for onsite and remote management. Responsible for creation and maintenance of thorough network diagrams, and institution-specific trouble-shooting guides and device build specifications. Work with 3rd party vendors to resolve network, voice, security and telecomm issues as needed. Assist in the implementation of project plans and facilitate project implementations on a timely basis. Work independently on broad assignments. Implement changes and upgrades according to vendors release schedule, network security demands, generally accepted best practices, and performance requirements. Maintain security rights and directory structure as outlined by IT Management and by adhering to generally accepted best practices. Perform other related work as assigned and initiative using available resources to achieve established goals. PM18 Education & Experience Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience Industry certification, such as Cisco CCNP, Microsoft MCSA, or VMWare VCP with 7 plus years of working experience Three plus years of IT experience in routing, switching in an enterprise environment Demonstrated proficiency with the design, provisioning and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN connectivity technologies Comprehensive hands on experience with LAN/WLAN/WAN/MAN technologies Comprehensive hands on experience with Cisco ISR routers Comprehensive hands on experience with Firewall (Cisco ASA) management PI106038444
