This position is based in Columbia, SC, however some remote work is possible. Responsibilities and Duties Provides expert leadership and solution designs for specified Medicaid/MITA business areas. a€‹Apply a structured architecture approach and methodology for capturing the business, application, information, and reference architecture views of the enterprise. Works with solution teams to improve processes and delivery for their functional business areas. Perform analysis of current business practices, user needs and work flow processes Prepares and/or reviews technical architectural and implementation design documents Communicate solution options to business owners/stakeholders (eg architecture reviews) Incorporate software and system architecture into conceptual designs while ensuring alignment with enterprise technology standards Participation in Architectural Review Boards Required Experience and Skills: Bachelora€ (TM) s or Mastera€ (TM) s degree (computer science, business administration, healthcare administration field is preferred) a€‹5 years in one or more business aspects of MMIS development or other areas of healthcare system development. 5 years of experience analyzing, designing, and/or delivering clinical/business solutions Demonstrated ability to work with management and functional teams to construct a project plan that addresses all necessary and sufficient client technical solution requirements. The ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions The ability to visualize and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations. Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus. Must be able to work with a core team of stakeholders, business and technical specialists. Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities. Must understand IT/technology roadmaps and the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Knowledge of current technologies, software development, and agile methodologies to align with business goals, and an in-depth knowledge of business applications, business process modeling, and architecture tools. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to a stringent timeline. Preferred Skills: PMP certification preferred. a€‹Experience in the following governance frameworks preferred: a€‹COBIT v5 ITIL v3 a€‹a€‹NIST MARS-E CMMI Consulting experience in business analysis, software engineering or quality assurance a bonus.
