Director, OSA Brand Marketing
Marketing Oversees the development and management of marketing budgets. Leads brand development including: positioning, voice/tone, brand visual and assets and website/app development. Entry Level: No Collaborates in the development of relevant content to ensure accuracy, alignment to overall brand strategy and consumer experience. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure brand constancies to grow their market share. As a convener, partners with IT department, on strategy for osa.org and works to provide best-in-class web sites including content, design, and user experience and leverage new media, communications and delivery channels. Supports the compliance of OSA-wide branding standards across all communications and marketing channels and platforms through collaboration with all OSA departments. SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures the effective management of marketing budgets to maximize financial resources towards the achievement of organizational branding and promotional objectives. Develops and uses measurement systems to monitor and project program trajectories and support strategic decision-making. Collaborates with staff to use high quality and state-of-the art strategies and plans in all marketing, design and communications practices for video, email, web sites, social media, print, mobile apps, and other efforts. Oversees projects aimed at positioning OSA and its products in new markets, as well as ensuring effective marketing plans for brand awareness. Institutes project management practices and procedures for all projects. Directs document management efforts for all OSA marketing and communications project - historical and current. Manages directly or oversees the effective management of all vendor relationships involved in providing marketing consulting, design and other services to augment OSA's marketing resources. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA Required MBA preferred Prior experience in an advertising, marketing or design agency preferred. Familiarity with science research and scientific publishing preferred. Experience with video development and production and new media. 5 to 7 years' expertise overseeing all aspects of marketing disciplines with strong emphasis on creative services and/or measurement. Experience managing external vendors. Experience in applying measurement systems to monitor programs. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Seasoned in developing and maintaining budgets. Excellent written, oral, interpersonal communications skills. Excellent analytical ability. Ability to demonstrate strategic competency.
