Position Purpose: Sell lawn, pest, aeration, and seeding services to homeowners Reports To: Assistant Sales/Marketing Manager Hours Per Week: 40 to 60 with seasonal Saturdays Work Experience : 1+ years experience in residential or consumer sales Certifications: Must obtain QualityPro Certification within 6 months of being in the role Tasks * Answer calls and document interactions * Interact with prospects to qualify their needs * Explain company services and match to identified needs * Close sales and schedule initial services * Make outbound calls to cross-sell and up-sell clients * Introduce additional service and/or product lines to new and existing clients * Maintain accurate and complete records of sales activities * Follow up with new clients to ensure satisfaction * Participate in occasional off-site sales and marketing events * Provide back-up for client service team * Mentor, coach and train technician sales team * Other duties as assigned by management Key Performance Indicators * Close Rate/Percentages * Net Sales * Work sold & produced in same year * Cancel Rate * Discount Rate * Team split sales improvement rate/percentage * Term sheet goals
