For more information visit Job Overview TE Connectivity's Field Application Engineering Teams work intimately with customers to recommend products and solutions for new and existing applications. They identify new applications, requirement modifications and enhancements to meet customer specifications and conduct on-site installation and service of product and are responsible for all technical aspects of the sales cycle for potential application of company products to meet customer needs, including identifying opportunities; determining solutions; creating demand; preparing detailed product specifications and technical marketing support; ensuring high quality and timely project execution and conducting follow-up technical support. They also approve operational quality of systems and equipment. Responsibilities & Qualifications This position is for a SubCom Cable & Survey Engineering and Project Support role that will assist in the management of a marine contract with a diversified customer. The role requires a highly motivated individual who possesses a proficiency in GIS software, project planning capability, interpersonal skills, and comfortable with multi-tasking and ambiguity. This position reports directly to the Technical Manager of Marine Operations and will be part of a team that supports part of the Marine Operations contract. Expected results are the ability to support a dynamic customer and deliver customer solutions across multiple platforms and to a diverse customer base. A level of dedication that allows for managing various personalities that will test the ability to deliver an Extraordinary Customer Experience in a sometimes difficult business climate. This person should be able to adapt to a constantly shifting project dynamic and still be consistent with a solution. Responsibilities: . Cable Route & Survey project planning . Marine Installation project planning . Communicate Project Planning via MS/Adobe media . Assist the Technical Manager in forming solutions and implementation . Reach-back to multiple departments within SubCom for technical knowledge . Ability to deliver frequent customer presentations Experience: . Experience in Makai Plan for undersea cable planning . Experience in ARCGIS for data management and presentation formats . Marine Operation & Station familiarity . Ability to speak to the cable & survey engineering decisions . Ability to build presentations . Possess a dynamic personality that earns customer confidence and respect . Possess the confidence that come with being a self-starter Qualifications: . BA or BS degree . Excellent Microsoft Office skills . Excellent Makai & ESRI skills . Strong teambuilding skills . Dynamic Communication Skills .
