Responsibilities This position is a member of the Guidehouse Contracts team which is responsible for performing critical contract formation and administration of contract functions. Qualifications Knowledge Preferred: Demonstrates some understanding of the following: Federal government contracts; electronic proposals; public sector contract file systems; government contract audits and close-outs. Demonstrates experience working with large and complex contracts with or on behalf of the Federal government. This includes knowledge of drafting/submitting electronic proposals and solicitation clarification questions, creating/updating excel spreadsheets detailing all active contracts, and maintaining formal contract records and US Government correspondence using physical and electronic contract file systems. Demonstrates research skills pertaining to the public sector marketplace and active/inactive Federal government contracts. Assists with government audits, contract close-outs and responds to request for information in the possession of the government contracts department. A proven record of success as an individual contributor that has knowledge of Federal contracts that includes facilitating the execution and distribution of US government contract agreements; reviewing solicitation, nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and subcontracts in accordance with federal contract negotiation and solicitation review guidance. Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 0-2 years of experience as a contracts professional in the Federal government marketplace Minimum Degree Required: High School diploma Minimum Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree Skills Preferred: Exposure to interfacing with the US Government and Federal customers, including senior-level officials and internal Firm partners/principals, as well as the ability to relay basic contract information and administration issues. Exposure to teaming with, and supporting the efforts of Contracts Department Management, client service professionals, legal, compliance, finance, and security functions. Demonstrates a proven, thorough ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently within a fast-paced environment, including a proven record of success with the following:- Effective customer service orientation and organization skills while paying close attention to detail; - Utilization of proactive listening and interpersonal skills to maintain a high level of productivity in an environment that places high priority upon success-driven teamwork;- Verbal and written communications expressed in a clear and concise manner;- Microsoft Office Suite utilization.
