General Manager Our core services include physically setting up and maintaining safety zones, complete with qualified flaggers and safety equipment around our customers ' construction and event sites. Another core service is the sale and rental of traffic control equipment including attenuator trucks, message and arrow boards, light towers, traffic drums, signs, barricades, barrels, and cones. Traffic Plan ' s management team is mostly comprised of retired law enforcement officials. We also employ skilled field technicians that are members of a nationally recognized union. Position Requirements: The qualified candidate shall possess proven General Manager skills with three to five years of experience with excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and decision-making skills. The qualified candidate must possess the ability to work independently and exercise complete confidentiality with all of the work content. Essential Job Duties: Scheduling crews on a daily basis Process any proposals according to MUTCD/DOT standards Conduct interviews for new hires Perform job site visits Managing daily crews Review and submit timesheets Handle any employee disciplinary matters Prepare daily, weekly reports Order any rental equipment as needed Oversee maintenance of equipment Handle safety incident reporting Attend pre-construction meetings Develop new customer relationships and maintain existing (Cutomer Liaison) Skills/Qualifications: Ability to work in a fast pace environment Aptitude to manage multiple projects with competing priorities in a calm and efficient manner Excellent customer service skills Knowledge of MUTCD and other related Traffic Control Manuals/PREFERRED Knowledge of MS Office This position offers competitive pay, insurance and paid vacation.
