This position will serve in a primary operations function at the direction of and coordination with the Executive Director. It requires the capacity for care and addressing regulatory issues, including both short-term sub-acute and long term care. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Manage budget across departments, operationalize effective and necessary oversight activities including policies and procedures. Work with Executive Director and Management Teams for operational improvement of performance and efficiency. Improve daily person-centered care processes. Will regulate all self-reporting to State agencies. Will perform incident investigations and responses, working with attorneys as necessary for documentation and investigation. Develop and/or implement Keswick Multi-Care initiatives as determined by the Executive Leadership Team. Act as Administrator of record in the absence of Executive Director. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree from an approved Healthcare Administration Program or related field; familiarity with QAPI, compliance programs, etc. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION AND REGISTRATION: This position requires a Maryland Nursing Home Administrator's license. WORK ORIENTATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: The Associate Administrative Director must possess a minimum of 2 years' experience as an Associate NHA or NHA or similar healthcare administration experience. Knowledge of regulations governing Nursing Homes is essential. Long term care experience is required. Must be available to work nontraditional hours (11a.m. to 8 pm, eg) including rotating in weekend coverage.
