The Enterprise IT / Managed Services Practice Lead establishes and maintains the Enterprise IT / Managed Services practice and associated services in the domain of Enterprise ID and Managed Service models across the Division. Specific responsibilities include: Function as Service Manager, developing frameworks and services that encompass technology, process, pricing, and marketing to differentiate GDIT, open up new sources of revenue, and enhance PWIN for strategic captures; Work closely with solution architects, technical staff, and program managers across the Division's Sectors, programs, and functional areas to develop the Division's Enterprise IT / Managed Service capabilities to thereby support customer mission requirements and Division business growth targets; Engage GDIT Corporate Growth Office, the other GDIT divisions, and other GD business units (eg, GDMS) to establish equitable, profitable partnerships and enhance the Division's and company's competitive positioning across the Enterprise IT / Managed Services domain;Actively explore novel technologies, services and unheralded technical partners with which to develop new sellable services and internal capabilities;Conceptualize, architect and implement new Enterprise IT / Managed Service models for the DoD and IC market and to expand the Division's business into new markets; Launch and execute marketing campaigns, support business development shaping activities, lead technical demonstrations, participate in customer meetings/briefings, and support call plans as required to enhance customer understanding of Division and GDIT capabilities;Actively engage, drive and maintain awareness of Division customer technology needs, roadmaps and major initiatives, ensuring alignment between customer and Division service and technology investment;Participate in long term capture strategy efforts and applicable color team reviews, identifying alignment of services to customer requirements;In concert with the GDIT Corporate Growth Office, establish the Division's Enterprise IT / Managed Services community of interest (COI) to identify and expose knowledge of Division technical capabilities; promote integration and use of these capabilities across the Division and entire enterprise, and to enhance employee participation and skill set development:Foster a culture of collaboration amongst employees actively delivering Enterprise IT / Managed Services on customer programs of record.Promote employee awareness of professional training and certifications funded / provided by the GDIT Corporate Growth Office.Work with HR on the development of applicable career pathways, domain events, and professional activities that promote the development and retention with the Enterprise IT / Managed Services workforce.Stay abreast of, and assess business risk of the latest technology trends, disruptions and Enterprise IT / Managed Service business models;Develop white papers and participate in customer outreach efforts which demonstrate the Enterprise IT / Managed Services qualifications of GDIT;Represent Division in Customer and Industry Working Groups, deliver public briefings and presentations enhancing Division position as a thought leader in the Customer communityAbility to develop cross-Divisional capabilities, forging services and solutions while working collaboratively with diverse staff elements to include deep technical professionals all the way to senior executive leadership. Represent Division in the cross functional group across GDIT: GDIT Enterprise IT / Managed Services COE (Center of Excellence)15 OR MORE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN AREA OF EXPERTISEUnique requirements include:Broad knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and technologies that deliver various Enterprise IT / Managed Services and capabilities. Demonstrated understanding of service model conceptualization, design, business case analysis, and implementation;Firm knowledge across and experience in several of the following areas: Shared Managed Services Models, IT Service Management/IT Operations Management (ITSM/ITOM), User Support, Desktop Management, Monitoring as a Service (NOC/SOC delivery models), Infrastructure Service Management (IaaS), Platform Service Management (PaaS), and Software Service Management (SaaS);Outstanding oral and written communications skills are required;Understanding of DoD and IC Enterprise IT / Managed Services programs, organizations, and policy using a variety of contract types operating under a GOCO and/or COCO model is highly desired;Experience and technical understanding of the ITSM market space (eg, ServiceNow, Remedy) solutions and vendor differentiation strategies, Leveraged vs Dedicated Resource Operating Models, and other relevant Service Delivery frameworks is highly desired;Knowledgeable and experienced in application and best practices of ITIL Framework;Experience and technical understanding in the areas of Cloud Services Offerings Model (Security Services, Managed Cloud Services, Cloud Engineering / Implementation Services, Command Center Operations) is highly desired;A background in consulting and recent, direct DoD/IC client engagement and delivery is preferred;Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, unstructured environment is desired; ability to be a self-starter highly desired; Experience designing and delivering Enterprise IT / Managed Services solutions, preferably in a Defense or National Intelligence agency, is preferred;Experience working in aP&L capacity and understanding the balance of delivering solutions that meet business oriented objectives is desired;Candidate should feel confident leveraging out of the box relationships such as academic, small business and other relationships to identify and build Enterprise IT / Managed Services solutions and services, including Concept of Operations (ConOps) development and labor estimation;Relevant professional engineer/service framework certifications strongly preferred.ITIL certification(s) preferred.PMP certification preferred.Ability to acquire & subsequently maintain relevant domain accreditations in at least two of the following Cloud Platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google.For more than 50 years, General Dynamics Information Technology has served as a trusted provider of information technology, systems engineering, training and professional services to customers across federal, state, and local governments, and in the commercial sector.
