Grade: PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:Provide overall leadership and oversee respective venue including, but not limited to, business operations and personnel mattersEstablish measurable goals and objectives that focus on profit, product and people.Oversee venue personnel actions, including all recruiting, hiring, training and development, and performance managementEnsure compliance with established workplace standards, and all state and local regulations and ordinances regarding businessMaintain operational control of all BOH and FOH managers and the day to day operations.Oversee the menu design and implements cost effective restaurant menu analysis, including menu engineering.Participate in weekly marketing requirements including but not limited to:3-4 organic posts to one of the following social platforms with information provided by the marketing team: Facebook, Instagram & Instagram StoriesSharing of venues Facebook posts onto their own channels for Branding and awareness.Posting and engaging (liking and commenting) with the venues social media posts as well as engaging with review sites such as Yelp.Ability to use your likeliness in photos and social media content to promote the venues for digital marketing within various digital formats such as: photos, videos, live stories, digital ads, etc.Review all incident reportsPromptly addresses all operational issues with team, administering appropriate actions including, but not limited to, providing conflict resolution, initiate disciplinary action, and coaching/mentoringEnsure Service goals and standards are defined and enforced in all venues; identify and implement opportunities for trainingExecute sales and marketing opportunitiesDevelop and execute strategic planning and forecastingPrepares weekly GM report for the leadership teamMonitor/analyze weekly and monthly Cost of Goods Sale and labor reportsCreate and implement clearly defined action plans for any budget deficiencies; identify and maximize cost controlMotivates Management team to achieve business goals and objectivesEstablish and monitor all pricingWork with property Legal and Corporate Nightlife & Events to negotiate and bid any service contracts, outside services, leasehold or capital expenses, or independent service providersOversee venue and facilities; monitor venue environment for cleanliness, appropriate lighting, sound and temperature; manage all Facility improvements and maintain warranty file and operations manuals on all equipmentEnsure all guest complaints are resolved; review complaints and incident reports, identify on-going concerns, implement changes to operations, policies, procedures, etc., as needed to mitigate prevalent issues.Maintain high guest satisfaction through consistently introducing innovative productsMonitors potential liability issues (contractual, regulatory, safety, and employment) and escalate all issues and potential issues to Legal and/or HR, as appropriatePerform other job-related duties as requestedSUPERVISION:Asst General MgrMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related fieldMinimum six (6) years of experience in a nightlife/lounge or similar environment; including progressive experience in supervisory/management rolesEffectively communicate in English, both oral and written formsPREFERRED:Previous experience working in a similar resort environmentPrevious marketing experienceCERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Gaming licensing as required by state of MarylandProof of eligibility to work in the United StatesKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Excellent customer service skillsMust possess good communication, organizational, and supervisory skills.Must have strong coaching and development skills.Working knowledge of labor and food cost control methods.Solid knowledge of International products and terminology.Must have strong human relations skills to lead a very diverse team.Ability to read and write in English proficiently.Professionally groomed and act as a role model.Basic computer skills and experience with computer based reservations systems.Positive attitude, self-motivated, polite, energetic and is a willing learner.Ability to digest complex information and communicate this to all employees.Knowledgeable about health and safety regulations.WORKING CONDITIONS:Indoor working conditions with moderate to loud noise levelsPhysically able to walk without assistance on various surfaces for an extended period.Varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays*This is not intended to include every duty or responsibility of the job nor is it intended to be an all-inclusive list of the skills and abilities required to do this job.
