We are seeking an experienced, career-oriented individual with exceptional leadership skills to join our team as a Sales Representative! Core Accountabilities include: Ability to sell our commercial, integrated low voltage systems solutions throughout Maryland, Southern PA, and/or Northern Virginia. Our offerings include communication infrastructure (voice, video, and data), fire, sound, security, access control, and CCTV. This person works hand in hand with the customer to give them the best possible solution for their immediate needs and for future needs for their communication efforts. Maintain the ARK mission statement goals and values as a standard of performance and conduct at all times. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Qualified candidates must have prior experience in selling Low voltage Commercial systems. * Maintains and archives proposals and bids for future actions.* Attends site surveys to determine what is necessary to sell and install a job.* Assists customers on technical and installation issues.* Maintains solid working relationship with established accounts. Skills and Abilities Required:* A familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the low voltage product lines and field. A strong technical background through electronics and communication training is a plus. * Ability to use Microsoft Office is a must. * Knowledge of installation practices and construction procedures a plus.* Knowledge of State, Local, and Industry standards involving low voltage wiring and device installation.* Must have valid Driver's license and transportation. Ability to obtain Maryland Security Systems Sales and VA DCJS licenses required. * Site surveys and job site inspections may require a degree of mobility.* Must have a positive and respectful attitude to maintain good working relationships with management staff, employees, vendors and customers. * Must be able to work in a high volume/fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Must demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and the ability to prioritize workload. Education and Experience Required:Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Experience in the following industries a plus: Small sound, low voltage, fire-alarm, life safety, construction or electrical background. Must have at strong outside sales background.
