Interacts directly with product managers to identify new marketing opportunities, prepares regular marketing activity reports and responds to questions from the sales organization. Works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion. May identify, evaluate and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives; provides pre- and post-sale marketing support to distributors, OEMs and resellers; and supports public relations through researching, writing and editing press releases. Responsibilities may also include: coordinating trade show activities, website development, developing future e-commerce strategies, and tracking of marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience. Background in commercial real estate required, retail experience preferred..Overview:The Marketing Manager will be a transformative driver within the business responsible for accelerating the awareness, adoption and engagement of CoStar products and services across the retail space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate, specifically as a retail broker or working within a real state department of a retail business. They will be able to work both strategically and tactically to create bold, impactful plans that drive new account growth, product cross-sell/upsell, loyalty, engagement, and reduced attrition. This position requires a smart risk taker who can deliver big ideas, demonstrates successful project ownership, understands how to prioritize opportunities, exemplifies a master cross-functional team leader, utilizes data to define recommendations and exhibits a strong detailed oriented approach to every project. The ability work in a fast-paced "start-up" feel environment is key. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing, CoStar.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDevelop integrated marketing campaigns for owners and lenders from E2E. Develop the positioning, strategy, campaign action plans and continuous loop to optimize programs.Create audience specific content (email, web, sales collateral, direct mail, print, infographics, presentations, case studies, and more) and manage the content flighting process to make sure they are promoted in the right channels.Develop deep subject matter expertise in product features/benefits as it relates to the financial services sector.Define and ensure all of our messaging is consistent, with clear call to action, relevant for the target audience and reflects the CoStar brand pillars.Drive innovative marketing programs to support new logo acquisition and customer engagement efforts that are fully integrated with sales initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially with sales, to execute campaigns that drive growth and build the CoStar competitive advantage.Develop and drive early engagement marketing strategy, customer contact strategy and delivery across channels to transform and improve the customer experience at 0-6 months.Develop strong working relationships with relevant stakeholders within and outside the team.Partner closely with design to develop high-performing, bar-raising creative.Requirements:5+ years marketing experience in commercial real estateBachelor's DegreePrior sales experience a plusExceptional written and verbal communication skillsProven experience in delivering best in class marketing programsKey Competencies:Creative out of the box thinkerStrategic thinkerHands-on, get it done marketerHigh degree of professionalism, maturity and confidentialityProject managementCollaborative team player across multiple functional organizationsExcellent problem solving abilitiesExperience leading cross-functional projectsAbility to deal with ambiguous problems and build solutions with proper project managementAbility to operate in a high-energy, fast-paced environmentHigh degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneouslyCoStar Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer; we maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing
