Director of Community Relations (Sales/marketing)
Ashleigh of Lansdowne Independent, Assisted Living and Memory Care Community in Leesburg, Virginia is seeking a full-time Director of Community Relations. The Director is responsible for maintaining 100% occupancy through marketing and sales activities such as telemarketing, tours, regular follow-up, developing referral sources, and maintaining a viable waiting list of applicants qualified to move to the community. Responsibilities: Accurately tracks all sales and marketing activity. Maintains an up-to-date and accurate database for all prospects, professionals and responsible parties (families). Responsible for the development and maintenance of a media list with contact information appropriate for the community. Conducts tours of the community. Assists in planning and implementing community marketing events. Attends all community marketing events and advertised activities as requested. Works with the Director in promoting the resident referral program. Responsible for networking activities within the community which includes the development of relationships with professionals and businesses designed to enhance the referral base of residents. Responsible for the development and maintenance of the budget related to all marketing activities. Responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of all planned advertisements and submits this information to the Corporate Director of Marketing annually. Responsible for assisting the Corporate Director of Marketing with decisions related to the placement of all media and print advertisement. Responsible for the development and distribution of press releases to announce appropriate activities within the community. Must possess sales ability. Must be familiar with Windows operating systems, MS Office, email software and internet browsers. Must have a high school diploma or equivalency. (Minimum of 2 year college degree preferred.) Must have two years of successful experience in sales and marketing. Must have the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form. Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends and holidays as required. Must have strong customer service skills. Must be able to exert up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
