  • This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP). Employee must pass initial/periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the AF, national security, and public safety.
  • Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays
  • Shift work and emergency overtime may be required
  • Position is designated special sensitive and incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.

  • Mobility is a condition of employment. The employee must sign an Air Force-wide mobility agreement.
  • The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
  • Employee may be subject to counterintelligence scope polygraph testing.
  • Education and/or expert level of experience within the Intelligence Series field, as it applies to RDT and E projects and efforts within the intelligence arena is desired.
  • A comprehensive knowledge and/or practical application within Contracting Office Representative (COR) and/or acquisition arena is desired.
  • Emergency Essential (EE) Position-The duty of the employee is to provide immediate and continuing support for combat operations or to support maintenance and repair of combat essential systems of the armed forces.
  • Performs duty in combat zone after nonessential personnel evacuation in connection with a war/natl emergency declared by Congress/President, and impracticable to convert employee's posn to a posn authorized to be filled by armed forces member .
  • Signs DDForm 2365-could be assigned to any location worldwide providing civ support to combat ops-could deploy to non-combat locations in response to contingencies, disaster relief, or emergency ops. (IAW Sec 1580 of Title 10, USC)
  • SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

    Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Knowledge DoD and IC organizations, policies, legislation, and directives to plan and develop relationships and guidance for application of complex procedures and techniques to diverse situations and varying degrees of management control; and Knowledge and experience working with government and civilian personnel, DoD and non-DoD agencies to ensure organizational and the DoD positions are accurately reflected and defended; and Knowledge and experience managing, planning, budgeting and executing intelligence and operations utilizing diverse intelligence support structures and inter-agency cooperation on advanced concepts, principles and
    practices. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:

    1. Comprehensive knowledge DoD and IC organizations, policies, legislation, and directives to plan and develop
    relationships and guidance for application of complex procedures and techniques to diverse situations and varying
    degrees of management control.

    2. Expert knowledge and experience working with government and civilian personnel, DoD and non-DoD agencies
    to ensure organizational and the DoD positions are accurately reflected and defended.

    3. Extensive knowledge and experience managing, planning, budgeting and executing intelligence and operations
    utilizing diverse intelligence support structures and inter-agency cooperation on advanced concepts, principles and
    practices.

    4. Comprehensive skill in conducting relevant, intelligence and operational-related research and development,
    preparing concise written reports and presenting innovative, imaginative and cohesive briefings, and other related
    duties as assigned.

    5. Expert skills in oral communications to present sensitive information and/or recommendations on complex matters
    to higher authorities; skilled in written communications sufficient to develop guidance, regulations and directives
    dealing with complex issues.

    6. Mastery in establishing and maintain highly productive working relationships with team members, clients,
    industry experts, and others including interpersonal effectiveness with executive management, peers, employees, and
    contractors as well as in building relationships and maintaining close coordination with a range of customers.


    PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

    VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
