    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: If selected for this position, you will be required to: - Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment. - Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Fund Transfer. - Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9.     Candidates must have one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 level. Specialized Experience is defined as:  Performing all aspects of contracting transactions from the initiation to awarding, administration and close out. Participating in projects that focus on policy development and operations/program improvement is applicable.

    This position Requires completion of a Bachelor's degree, that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.

This would include concepts related to the full range of contract types, administration methods, principles and procedures, directives, GAO decisions and case law applicable to the execution of a diverse and complex mix of contracts for major systems and extensive program initiatives.
    • Ability to communicate and represent an organization with both internal and external audiences on acquisition practices, processes, policies, and procedures in a clear, concise, and cognitive manner.
