Job Description

Seeking an Office/Accounting/IT Coordinator for a local CPA firm in the Rockville, MD area. The firm consists of about 200+ employees. The Office/Accounting/IT Coordinator will be a jack of all trades assisting and running the ship of this firm. This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience in public accounting but wants to switch gears and take on more HR/Operations related duties along with some accounting tasks. The ideal person in this role will possess strong organization, communication, leadership skills, along with knowing their numbers and the operations of a firm. A jack of all trades is what we need!

Hours: Avg. 40 hour work week but must be flexible to stay late/come in early when needed


  • Ability to handle all internal accounting for the business/practice (payroll, client billings, cash flow forecasting, budgets, and special projects)
  • HR matters (hiring/on-boarding)
  • Vendors
  • Insurance issues
  • Office supplies
  • Purchasing
  • IT matters, etc.

Job Requirements


  • BS in Accounting/Finance
  • 5+ yrs in public accounting or non-profit industry
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • M.Office - advanced
