Strategic Partnerships- Corporate Learning Solutions

Exempt, Regular, 100% Full-Time, Pay Grade 1.3

University of Maryland University College (UMUC) seeks a Coordinator, Lead Generation. Reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, the Coordinator, Lead Generation will develop and implement effective identification of leads to support Corporate Learning Solutions. The Coordinator, Lead Generation will be responsible for generating and contacting leads; s/he will design systems to identify corporate, state and federal prospects.  Will work to set telephone and in-person appointments for the Business Development Directors.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Set telephone and in-person appointments for the Business Development Directors.
  • Proactively uses various resources and tools to seek out potential prospects and/or successful alumni.
  • Reports regularly on these findings.
  • Contact leads and set up appointments
  • Creating, maintaining and distributing reports that will facilitate the efficient flow of strategic information for Corporate Learning Solutions.
  • Preparing research profiles, briefing reports, lead generation, and prospect lists for Corporate Learning Solutions.
  • Designing, implementing coordinating the research systems and resources necessary to identify leads.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education and a minimum of two years of customer service or related experience, preferably in sales. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Advanced research and organizational skills. Self-motivated and highly detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry and analysis. Ability to analyze, synthesize, and present information. Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality. Must be able to interact effectively with others for the purpose of soliciting and reporting information, and for prioritizing work assignments. Exceptional ability to work both independently and as a team member.
