Administrative Specialist – Operations and Accounting
Our client, a Non-Profit near the Red Line in Upper Northwest, Washington, DC is seeking a Temporary Administrative Specialist with both administrative and accounting experience. This person will be responsible for administrative support to the Director of Administrative Operations and assists with the administration of human resources and accounting operations. These duties will include accounts payable and receivable, payroll, expense reports, travel requests, and administrative and clerical support.
This person will coordinate the collection processes and ensure that contractual agreements are maintained and billed appropriately.
Must have strong attention to detail, a thorough knowledge of general accounting and administrative practices and procedures and proficiency in handling multiple projects. Strong MS Office skills are needed as well as solid accounting and payroll software. Paylocity and/or Sage (formerly Peachtree) skills are preferred, but not required.
