Continued employment is contingent upon satisfactorily completing a criminal history records check (or other applicable security clearance) and a pre-employment drug-test (pre-identified position only).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with network monitoring and network problem determination applications such as Akips and Spectrum.
Significant experience working with standard wiring schemes, network protocols, and networking components, preferably those used within the House environment.
Experience with standard communications networking hardware and software, preferably those used within the House Environment.
Experience with Local Area Network (LAN) networking components such as routers, switches and hubs. Strong knowledge of network testing equipment and techniques. Must be able to pull network cables (fiber or copper), use hand tools, power tools and work on ladders.
Must be able to meet minimum physical demands; handle and lift heavy items at least 50 lbs, bend/crouch and stand for long periods of time.
Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted personnel policies.
Provide on-site support 24x7 (40-hour week) and on-call via cellular or other data deliver utilities. Ability to work additional hours as required.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
