Overview:

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital Clinical Laboratory is hiring a Phlebotomist to work PRN, 4-8am.

The candidate will be required to visit sites in Southside Hampton Roads and North Carolina.



Sentara Laboratory Services is a team of more than 700 Clinical Laboratory Professionals that service 12 hospitals and the communities around them in the Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina region.

Responsibilities:

Performs stat and/or routine phlebotomy in various inpatient, outpatient, or long-term care facilities while maintaining the highest level of customer service. Collect, label, scan and register patient specimens for testing. Responsible for prioritizing work to meet acceptable response times for all priority labs requested. Monitors phlebotomy supply levels. Frequent interaction with physician and hospital staff.
