Overview:

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is recruiting for a full time Manager for the Sterile Processing Department. Candidates should have previous experience working in SPD, have a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience and be certified as an SPD Tech through IAHSCMM.

Department/Position Overview: This position will lead the Sterile Processing Department and will have duties which will include development, implementation and evaluation of plans for meeting surgical volume equipment and instrumentation needs.

Facility Highlights: Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is a 276-bed acute care facility offering specialized, tertiary services. SVBGH is the region’s only Level III Trauma Center and home to Sentara Heart Center, which is the portal to a sophisticated array of quality cardiac services with outcomes that surpass national standards. SVBGH is also one of only ten Advanced Primary Stroke Centers in Virginia certified by the Joint Commission. Other clinical services at this facility include Palliative Care Program, the Coastal Cancer Center, Diabetes Center, Orthopedics, Accredited Sleep Disorders Center, and an Inpatient Rehab Unit.
