Overview:

Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, Virginia is hiring an experienced RN or RCIS -Team Coordinator for the Cardiac Cath/Vascular Lab!

This position is full time day shift, but will include taking call

Department Overview:
This unit will see patients having cardiac diagnostic procedures, pacemakers, defibrillators, aneurysm procedures and interventional radiology. Position requires managing staff and day to day operations within the Cath/Vascular Lab.

Bachelor's degree or other formal professional/technical preparation in a relevant discipline for the area/personnel supervised. BSN required for those departments where RN's are supervised. All licenses must be maintained in area of specialty.

Responsibilities:

The Team Coordinator is responsible and accountable for the daily operations of one or more clinical areas. Supervises procedural area staff including coordinating quality and customer service activities; assisting in the development and monitoring of the departmental budget; coordinating the purchasing and payroll processes; serving as a technical/clinical resource to team members; and performing work assignments as needed to provide appropriate coverage and to mentor/assist staff. Serve as chief retention officer for areas of responsibility.
