Overview:

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is recruiting for a full time Sterile Processing Tech II to join our team in Central Sterile to work a full time rotating schedule. We require a candidate who has previous sterilization experience in a work or school environment and certification through IAHCSMM.

Department/Position Overview: This position will join the Team in our state of the art Sterile Processing arena. Responsibilities would include receiving, decontamination, sterilization, storing and distribution of all instruments handled by Sterile Processing. Would be responsible for assembling and disassembling case carts. High school graduate or equivalent - require candidates with previous sterilization experience.

CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing/Distribution Tech) or IAHCSMM (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) required.

Responsibilities:

Education Level
High School Grad or Equivalent

Experience
Required: SPD Associate - 2 years
