Sentara Medical Group is hiring a Customer Service Associate I position, Central Billing Office
Shift: Full Time, Days

Other
2+ years of related experience, preferably in a call center or healthcare environment. 1+ years of billing experience preferred. Epic, GECB, or All script experience preferred

Responsibilities:

Patient Customer Service Associate I is responsible for balances in a Self-Pay status. Reviews and resolves statement edits, process financial assistance applications, sets up payments plans and takes payments, corresponds with the patient regarding their balances, works collection accounts and any Self-Pay PMS work queue assigned to them.

Qualifications:

Education Level
High School Grad or Equivalent

Experience
Required: Related - 2 years

Preferred: Billing - 1 year
