Overview:

Sentara Healthcare is hiring a full time Senior Accountant in our Corporate Office in Norfolk, Virginia.

Position Overview

  • Prepare, analyze, research, and adjust financial statements for management presentation.

  • Creates relevant work papers, schedules, and reconciliations.

  • Review and comprehend financial indicators and results of operations, significant operational statistics, variances from budget and historical results.

  • Research technical accounting and financial reporting issues, and assist with ad hoc financial analysis and projects.

  • This position assists in preparation and coordination of year-end audits.

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
