Overview:

Optima Health is seeking an Education Clinical Care Services Manager. Experience with Medicaid product lines and/or Care Coordination experience preferred.

This position is full time day shift. You will assume responsibility, accountability, and leadership for Clinical Care Service Teams (CCS), an integrated team responsible for all clinical care including medical and behavioral health. Responsibilities include orientation of new staff, developing educational resources, and creating educational opportunities for leadership for CCS team members.

Optima Health Community Care is a Commonwealth Coordinated Care Plus (CCC Plus) Medicaid plan for many older people and those with disabilities. CCC Plus is a Medicaid managed care program through the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS).

Bachelors degree in area of clinical specialty. If candidate is an RN must possess a BSN or MSN. Current license from the in accordance with professional discipline required.

Experience with Medicaid product lines and/or Care Coordination experience preferred.


Responsibilities:

This position assumes responsibility, accountability, and leadership for Clinical Care Service Teams (CCS). CCS is an integrated team responsible for all clinical care including medical and behavioral health. Responsibilities include orientation of new staff, developing educational resources, and creating educational opportunities for leadership for CCS team members. This position is accountable for implementing all education regarding contractual agreements, compliance with Federal, State and Accreditation Standards for CCS areas and management. This position is able to complete work independently with minimal direction from the senior management staff for Clinical Care Services.
