Overview:

Optima Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Team Coordinator to lead our essential
Call Center-Triage Program team in Virginia Beach, VA.

Hours/Shift:

Rotating shifts

Department/Position Overview:

This critical position covers 24/7 and 365 management of the call center Triage Program. The Registered Nurse (RN) Team Coordinator completes staff schedules for the program, audits documentation and call quality and provides superior leadership to the team of 20+ Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) employees. Minimum 3yrs of nursing experience required, preferably in both adults and pediatrics. Minimum BSN required.

Responsibilities:

Collaborates with Manager and assumes responsibility, accountability, and provides leadership for daily clinical operations, coordination of work, quality and service, and team member supervision in Clinical Care Services Department. Facilitates the work of assigned team members. May share responsibility with other team coordinators in designated areas. Contributes to the success of the After Hours Nurse Triage through the following: effective work coordination, management of resources, identification and implementation of identified opportunities.
