Overview:

Sentara Healthcare is hiring a full time Manager of Virtual Learning. This is a unique opportunity to work for one of the nation's top integrated healthcare systems, to work with leaders who value people, quality, patient safety, service and integrity, and to live in an area that that is historical, multi-cultural, and that is bordered to the west by the Elizabeth River and to the north by the Chesapeake Bay.

Position Overview
  • Full responsibility for creating, managing, delivering and coordinating the delivery of virtual leadership development for the Sentara Leadership Institute.
  • Accountable for providing program management leadership in developing, marketing and delivering the educational content for Sentara Learning Institute virtual learning classes, events and services including live and pre-recorded audio and video content.
  • There may be up to 30% travel to various Sentara facilities.

  • 3 years of experience creating and managing virtual training for a large organization

Bachelor¿s degree required with 3 years of proven success in the creation, curation and delivery of training via numerous virtual platforms. Prior leadership development experience preferred but will consider proven success in other industries. Ability to curate, promote, coordinate and deliver new online programs as evidenced by performance metrics on previously managed programs and/or projects. Must share documentation of program/project performance metrics and outcomes. Previous experience and working knowledge of virtual program delivery platforms such as WebEx, Zoom, YouTube, iTunes, Podcasts, etc.

Responsibilities:
