Sentara Healthcare is currently recruiting for an experienced EMT-I or EMT-P to work as an Operations Supervisor. This individual will be responsible for overseeing operations in the Woodbridge, VA area.

EMT -Intermediate or EMT Paramedic are acceptable discipline specific certifications for the position. Advanced Cardiac Life Support required for EMT - Intermediate and EMT- Paramedic staff upon hire. EMT - Paramedic also requires Pediatric Advanced Life Support upon hire. Operations Supervisors managing Administrative/Ops Support functions required to have a valid Drivers License. Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC) within in 30days of hire. Must be qualified to operate Medical Transport emergency vehicles in both emergency and non-emergency situations.


Responsible for all aspects of supervision of Medical Transport's day to day field operations across all districts and zones. Responsible for performance evaluations, initiates disciplinary actions, performs incident investigations and assists in scheduling functions. Resolves customer service issues and interacts with facility staff as needed. Performs patient care duties when necessary.


Education Level
High School Grad or Equivalent

Required: EMS - 2 years, Leadership - 2 years
