Purpose of Position - Essential Functions (the fundamental, crucial job duties performed in this position): Under the supervision of the Director of the Lourie Center School, the Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the Lourie Center staff (School, Clinic, and TNP HD &TNP FD) adhere to the Crisis Prevention Institute model of Nonviolent Crisis Intervention. He is the Point person for training and supporting individuals intervening in pre-crisis or crisis situation. H also serves as the Lourie Center's Safety Officer and assists with the day to day operations of the Lourie Center.
