Specialized Experience: Applicants must possess one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 level or pay band in Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as: transporting and delivering mail, overnight packages, and bulk parcels; collecting unclassified material for destruction; operating platform to pick up and deliver materials and equipment to various locations; and providing customer service to internal and external customers regarding logistics and express mail procedures.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education cannot be substituted for experience in order to qualify for this position.
