Business Manager/Bookkeeper for Performing Arts Magazine

Circulation 8,500, started in 1936

Business manager/bookkeeper and advertising manager who works remotely from home. Must have both good organizational skills, and a happy and welcoming personality in customer service via phone and email. Prior experience with Quickbooks Online and database management a must. Forty-hours a week, from 9 to 5, five days a week. Perfect for the person who does not want to commute. Reports to lead bookkeeper on matters of bookkeeping and finance, works closely with owners headquartered in Bethesda. Must have a car. Occasional trips to office necessary.

Must have expert experience in:

  • Quickbooks Online
  • Accounting/bookkeeping/billing
  • Access Database, Woo Commerce Database, Word, Excel and preparing Mailing Lists
  • Customer Service via phone and email interfacing with customers and vendors, domestic and international.
  • Mail Chimp campaigns, managing Mail Chimp lists
  • Prioritizing and organizing multiple tasks simultaniously
  • Manage all business correspondence
