  • Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level which is directly related to this line of work AND fluency in the English and Hausa languages that demonstrates ability to produce digital video and social media content in both languages.

    Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.

    Examples of such experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Ability to combine a variety of sources and reports into a singular, coherent news story on digital platforms; (2) Thorough knowledge of project management, social media and video production; (3) Capability to organize, plan, schedule and deliver multiple projects on deadline; and (4) Knowledge of all phases of social programming and distribution on major platforms.

    Applicants cannot substitute education for experience.

    1. If you are still on active duty, you may submit a statement of service from your Personnel Command which states that date you entered active duty, the date you are separating, and the campaign medals you have received.
