Town of Vienna, VA- Purchasing Assistant/Buyer-(Part-Time with benefits)- ($23-$28/Hour DOQ/DOE)- 25 hours per week, 5 hours daily between hours of 8am and 4:30pm.
Join our Vienna Team! The Town of Vienna is a vibrant community in Fairfax County, about 15 miles west of Washington, DC. The Purchasing Assistant analyzes and processes purchase requisitions and orders; distributes RFP’s and IFB’s and maintains vendor & bidder lists in Tyler Munis system. The ideal candidate is experienced in automated systems and proficient in MS office products. Experience with Tyler Munis software systems and Purchasing Cards highly desired. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Purchasing or similar area and two years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Local government experience a plus.
