Executive Director Creative Services The Executive Director Creative Services will lead an Internal and External Team of Creative Service professionals across Creative Project Management Copy and Design The Executive Director Creative Services is a key member of the Walden Marketing and Enrollment executive team and will be a critical stakeholder in driving the growth of the business working collaboratively with Product Management Marketing Digital CRM and Academic Leadership The ED is a strategic creative visionary who leads creative teams through strategic and innovative solutions Effectively motivates others internal and external resources and is focused on key company goals and objectives They must have extensive knowledge of the creative process from concept through execution The ED must be able to lead agency teams to develop the overall creative vision for the brand including voice and look and feel which supports the commitments of the marketing team ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure the creative output of all projects from the Creative Services team is of the highest standard and positioned correctly Responsible for the creative vision the look the feel and the tone of a brand Responsible for matching tactic to strategy Oversees UX and UI designers UX Designers work to fully understand the customer and their journey and the UI designers produce the user interfaces that enhance the brand and are focused on building engagement Ensure insights are turned into creative impact Understand that people are consuming things differently these days and how to address these needs Work with stakeholders to ensure all the creative briefs etc are in order prior to initiating a formal project with the creative team Work closely with the Business Intelligence Head of Enrollment and each of the Product Managers Product Marketing and Channel teams eg search display CRM etc to identify the highest potential prospects Collaborate with key marketing partners eg Google Facebook Research Team etc and other innovation teams at Laureate to help drive innovation throughout every aspect of the digital operation with the goal to enhance personalize the prospective student experience and deliver the best possible branded experience Partner with internal market research BI external partners like Google and their global expansion team on gaining critical insights into digital trends eg mobile video query growth actively monitor the digital landscape for new threats eg offers competitors disruptors etc and turn insights into actionable revenue generating solutions Build a highly effective world class Creative Services organization by hiring training motivating and setting leadership direction for all direct reports and cross functional teammates Requirements Bachelors degree preferred years of experience managing large multidisciplinary creative teams Must have direct marketing experience Must have Online Interactive experience managing large and small scale online operations including e commerce platforms Experience developing or overseeing Interactive Marketing plans with an understanding of the current online customer engagement channels Experience with E Mail Display Advertising Affiliate SEO SEM Social Media and Mobile Proven ability to build and grow Brands with an intuitive sense for defining a brands essence Must have a strong creative portfolio expertise at developing digital and mobile digital creative with demonstrated results Acknowledged thought leader with award winning creative achievements Proven expertise at motivating and managing Creative Teams in developing communicating and selling transformational concepts Expert at translating consumer insights into creative strategies and breakthrough concepts that drive business results Strong knowledge of interaction design technology usability and experience design Experience recruiting hiring managing developing motivating and promoting direct reports and creating or promoting a customer centric culture Travel may be required between
