Technical Recruiter GoCanvas is seeking a passionate, well-networked, and driven Technical Recruiter to join our HR department as we rapidly expand our IT teams! We are looking for someone with 5 or more years of recruiting experience who is action and process oriented, organized, outgoing and can easily adapt in an ever-changing, high growth SaaS company. The Technical Recruiter will play a critical role in identifying, sourcing, screening, and providing a list of qualified candidates for various technical positions. You will be expected to network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire, and ensure we attract the best professionals. Ultimately, you will build a strong talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our IT positions. Key Initiatives: Manage the technical recruiting function and conduct key searches to support our overall efforts in discovering top talent; sourcing pre-qualifying, and in some cases selecting the best technical candidates that meet both the potential employees and companys needs documenting recruitment related activity in accordance with the established expectations. Team-up with various members of the organization to identify creative ways to source and attract talent, including building a recruiting pipeline; participate in user groups, networking events, campus recruiting events and/or other events in order to find additional sources of candidates. Be creative in leveraging social media and tools to identify potential candidates while assisting in the maintenance of recruiting social media portals such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and others. Communicate with Hiring Managers and HR to create and execute recruitment strategies while communicating opportunities for system and operational quality improvements. What You Bring: BA or BS in Human Resources or a related field. Previous knowledge and/or experience working in successful technical talent acquisition programs for 5 or more years. Understanding of and exposure to software and developmental languages, eg SQL, Java, C++, C#, .NET, PHP, etc. Knowledge of EEOC and OFCCP compliance standards ability to create and develop job descriptions, classification systems and salary scales by partnering with Management. Ability to leverage multiple strategies when sourcing talent. Highly organized, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced and unpredictable environment while meeting set deadlines. What Success Looks Like: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of company hiring goals, needs, and sharing our culture across multiple platforms to attract and deliver talent in a timely manner. Understanding recruiting metrics, reporting, and leverages the numbers towards performance improvement. Ensure a smooth pre-employment process and assist the HR team, as needed.
