McLarens, is searching for an experienced ADJUSTER in Fairfax Virginia .The adjuster needs to be able to work under minimal supervision, resolve losses generally up to $250,000 by investigating and negotiating adjustment of losses. We are looking for an exceptional and resourceful problem solver, proactive thinker, and self-starter. Primary responsibilities include: Claims Adjuster will Personally investigate and determine the extent of property related loss up to $250,000 and to evaluate coverage. Claims Adjuster will report Subsequent findings to either a McLarens Account Adjuster or directly to a Claims Examiner at an insurance company for their review and consideration. Claims Adjuster will Assist Large Loss Adjusters and Account Adjusters with various tasks, including: investigations, assessment of loss, and to interview or correspond with claimants, or other relevant parties. Experience: Prefer 3-5 years of industry related experience 3+ years knowledge of general liability losses; product, contractors and reinsurance experience a plus Must have Xactimate experience Skilled at using, Microsoft Word and Excel Benefits: Medical Dental Vision 401k w/ company match of 50% 3 weeks PTO Our Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
