Role Summary: This position is responsible for managing the line of Exchange, Economy and Classic parts in the US market for VWoA. This includes supply and sales strategy, tracking of sales trends, parts portfolio optimization and supporting local sourcing activities. Also included is developing, managing and maintaining overall parts sales promotions and incentives including the Volkswagen AIM program. Role Responsibilities: Manage Volkswagens second line parts product range to optimize sales for VWoA and the dealer network with the goal of increasing segment three business. Manage the vendor supported dealer interface to facilitate the sale of Classic parts in the US through its existing dealer network. Manage the incentives and promotion portal (AIM), the vendor as well as manage and coordinate activities to set up, gain approval and make payments for promotions and incentives Collaborate with parts sales and service operations colleagues to develop and implement incentive programs for Technicians/Service Advisors/Service Manager/Parts Consultants/Parts Managers Be aware of parts sales market trends and recommend incentive and sales strategies Identify opportunities to increase parts sales. Research, develop, implement and manage ad-hoc initiatives and/or programs related to those opportunities. Ensuring the success of projects by driving day-to-day operations through the application of sound project management principles and methodologies Understand black/grey market parts in the market and support strategies to eliminate the sale thereof Support efforts to eliminate copyright infringements on VW part numbers Liaise with the Parts Sales, Service Operations and Marketing teams Other responsibilities as assigned by management Qualifications Years of Experience: 5-7 years of related experience 5 years min Project Management expertise Education-Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing or related field Education-Desired MBA in Business Administration or Finance Skills: Analytical and conceptual - using logic and reason with creative and strategic thinking Communication skills - excellent interpersonal, presentation and written Computer savvy - skilled in general operation and comfortable with varied software/programs Integration - joining people, processes or systems Influence and negotiation skills Internal resource management Supplier/vendor relations and management Specialized Skills-Required Experience with project management in a corporate/customer-facing environment or equivalent Plan and organize using advanced analytical skills utilizing spreadsheets and/or databases Prior experience managing vendor/supplier relationships Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office (heavy Excel, Power Point & Word), SAP, ET2000, Business Objects Ability to manage various concurrent projects Support continuous improvement in program and personal performance Builds and sustain solid working relationships with vendors, suppliers, coworkers and other department colleagues Commitment to quality, integrity and transparency Demonstrates team orientation Specialized Skills-Desired Spoken/written German Spoken/written Spanish Experience in Aftermarket or OEM supply/sales environment Familiarity with OEM dealership operations Work Flexibility: Some travel, including international We are proud to be an EEO employer M/F/D/V.
