Provides the General Manager and Hotel Manager with administrative support including typing, filing, answering telephones, taking messages, maintaining appointment calendars, making travel arrangements, and other general office duties. Assists with guest correspondence, as needed. Oversees projects specific to the hotel operation, as directed by the General Manager and/or Hotel Manager.What will I be doing?Prepares and types correspondence and numerical/financial reports, as directed. Prepares correspondence on behalf of management. Copies, distributes, and ships materials for the department/office.Uses the property's email system and maintains their email box, as is policy. Additionally, this position may or may not have access and/or control over the email box of their supervisor(s).Coordinates meetings with ownership representatives and corporate leadership. Responds to VIP guest inquiries/requests, as needed and directed by the General Manager and Hotel Manager. Assists with the booking and inspection of guest rooms, travel arrangements, and reservations for the General Manager/Hotel Manager/VIP Guests/Corporate Guests, as needed. Assists with developing agendas, planning logistics, and preparing reports for meetings, as needed.Oversees and/or assists with specific projects, as directed by the General Manager or Hotel Manager, to include, but not limited to: SALT Action Planning, department audits, public guest interactions, etc.Orders and maintains office supplies and equipment.
