The primary objective of this Intelligence Community contract is to provide core Systems Engineering processes in support of end-to-end mission and services closure. The contract is responsible for supporting requirements and CONOPs development and updates; independent verification, validation and test in support of mission closure; overseeing the readiness process in support of enterprise, system and acquisition-level milestones; leading and supporting project planning. The Integration and Closure GEOINT System Engineer is part of a team of engineers assessing system maturity, conducting engineering lifecycle readiness reviews, assessing schedules and risk; generating and presenting engineering briefings; and interfacing with numerous customers. Duties and Responsibilities: The candidate will support teams coordinating, supporting and assessing requirements, CONOPs and architecture products, assessing system schedule and risks, supporting test and verification strategy and system integration of new initiatives in support of expanded mission capabilities The selected candidate will have frequent client interactions, and support system and mission strategy development across the various offices The candidate will support various system readiness events and independent review teams and is required to have a strong systems engineering background The candidate will interact with multiple stakeholders to facilitate risk and action closure and support technical consultation, meeting coordination, and support to recommendation briefings The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, have an ability to prioritize their time, and understand the value of providing strong customer service. The candidate will have an individual contributor role on the Integration & Closure team responsible for overseeing the acquisition-level closure of requirements; overseeing system level readiness events in support of enterprise, system and acquisition-level milestones; leading and supporting project planning; assessing schedule and risk; generating and presenting engineering briefings; and interfacing with numerous customers. Qualifications Requires 2 to 5 years with BS/BA or 0 to 2 years with MS/MA/MBA or 8 to 10 years with no degree. Knowledge of GEOINT/EO systems and overall space and ground architecture Knowledge of mission technical capabilities and system performance analysis and assessment Knowledge of Mission Planning, Control or Processing functions in support of space and ground architecture Knowledge in identifying user & enterprise needs/requirements and gap identification, analysis and assessment Knowledge of Requirements Engineering, CONOPs development, and system integration to accommodate end to end Systems Engineering Commitment to recognize, understand, respect and operate effectively within various SETA, FFRDC, and Government lines of authority TS/SCI with poly is required to start Strongly Desired Skills: Certified in one or more of the following: SAFe, ITIL, PMI/PMP, INCOSE.
