Perspecta has an immediate need for a Python Software Developer in Annapolis Junction, Md. The Python Software Developer shall have the following responsibilities: Design, develop, debug and test complex technical applications. Develop new and existing software tools and techniques. Work with a team of developers to meet customer requirements and deadlines. Develop Android and x86 applications. Conduct various testing activities and work with testers to help ensure quality control of system components. Qualifications: Experience with many Linux distributions - CentOS and Ubuntu Familiar with Public Key Infrastructure Apache HTTP Server and MariaDB experience Web development experience using Flask-SQLAlchemy and other frameworks Virtualization experience using VMware, ESXi, vCenter Familiar with Cisco VPNs - Firewalls, Routers, IPSec, ISAKMP, Spoke-Hub setups Familiar with Android ecosystem and general connectivity Candidate must have seven (7) to fourteen (14) years experience as a Software Engineer. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) additional years of Software engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
